Even to me, it's amazing that "The Jeremy Lin Show" has reached the NBA level (more on the origins of that phrase in a future blogpost). But not all of this is coming out of thin air. Yes, Jeremy has actually done this before, on a fairly consistent basis. Why didn't anyone think it was translatable to the NBA? That's a question that has a complex answer and is also probably worth a separate post.
Following up on Atma's fanshot, here's the link to the original "most comprehensive" scouting report, and if you want my brief take on it now looking back, hit the jump...
Could I possibly go out on a limb again? Haha, sure. You only live once! Here you go:
Next stop for The Jeremy Lin Show: the Olympics. Why not? You never thought it was possible to reach the NBA despite what he did at Paly or Harvard. Why not for Team USA? You heard it here first.

| Joel Abelson, Idaho Stampede |
Last Friday, Scott Schroeder of RidiculousUpside offered up four possible candidates, based on Larry Riley's brief explanation of what he might be looking for, to be the Warriors' new head coach of the newly acquired D-League (NBDL) team, the Dakota Wizards. One of them was the Bay Area's own Joel Abelson...
Joel Abelson, associate head coach of the Idaho Stampede, would seem to be an excellent candidate for the position in Dakota. The 28-year-old has coached in the D-League for the past four seasons while spending his summers developing young players, giving him the exact experience the Warriors should be interested in during this coaching search.
Check the article for more details on why Schroeder thinks he's a good candidate, but do you remember Abelson from the Warriors' call-up of Anthony Tolliver?
My dear golden friends. I have some great news to share with you all. This mighty community has crossed the 30 million page views mark.

There's only two things that are guaranteed in life:

2) GSoM can't be stopped.
Here's to the next 30 million and beyond.
Thank you all.
GSoM's blogger draft record is the opposite of the Warriors- "Unbustable Baby!"
Sure the Cleveland Cavaliers scored 2 top 5 picks in the 2011 NBA Draft Lottery, but guess what GSoM scored in the 2011 NBA Blogger Lottery? I don't think I even need to tell you to... JUMP!
Warriors Weekly: In The Studio With Monta Ellis - 4/4/11 (via GoldenStateWarriors)
Real quick while I find ways to not study for my final tomorrow - Remember when I posted about Monta Ellis starting a rap career?
Turns out he's ACTUALLY STARTING A RAP CAREER.
Peep the YouTube video above from the Warriors Weekly segments. Monta gets interviewed by none other than Bay Area legend Chuy Gomez!
P.S. Monta has a Cowboys jersey in his house and claims the reason he wears #8 is because of Troy Aikman.
...what a quick way to lose some Bay Area fans

Big News: SB Nation Regional Sites Launching Today
Jump for links to the first 6 and mark you calendars for July 1st. It will be the launch of SB Nation Bay Area. You better believe there will be some GSoM flava there too!
Today is the 5th birthday of GSoM. If you told me this is where we'd be at, back on May 24, 2005, I would have thought you were nuts. But then again who I am to say that? This whole site is nuts- and I mean that in the best way possible.
This calls for a new web pin on our famous side column. Post your ideas in the comments section.
What was the first ever post on GSoM/ GSW BLOG? Make the jump to find out!
Thanks to the folks at @AmoebaSF, I got a chance to see an advanced screening of Just Wright, starring Queen Latifah and Common, the other night. For the actual movie review, I recommend the "sophisticated" commentary by the New York Daily News, which kinda went over my head, but likewise I'm sure any of our GSoM NBA analysis would be met with a blank stare from Ms. Movie-Reviewer Elizabeth Weitzman. Then there's the on-point review by E! Online which basically says Just Wright is just ok.
But we hoopheads are looking for something else. Something way more insightful than the movie itself. And that is...
Well, aside from the YouTube clip above, hit the jump to find out -- plus some other interesting NBA tidbits from the film.
[TANGENT: Related to the poll, Bill Simmons's B.S. Report podcast recently had on David Duchovny, who seems to be a decent baller, and they discussed how Wesley Snipes sucks and Woody Harrelson is not bad.]
