Mark Jackson
On Today's Game:
"You know, disappointing loss. You shoot 50 percent on the road you should come out ahead with a win. Put teams on the foul line, turn the basketball over and give up 16 offensive rebounds, it's a recipe for disaster. I understand this is a process but this is a 66-game season and we need to speed up the process. I will find guys that are playing well, competing and executing the game plan, and if that means playing five guys 48 minutes, I will. They will tell me how many guys will play by their performance. Just a disappointing loss."
Monta Ellis
On Today's Game:
"Pretty much all the games are very important. We get off to a great start and games we should win we should win. I feel like tonight was one of those games we should have won. You've got to find a way to get games like this and find a way to win. You can't come out and be down by three in the fourth and then go down by 10 and try to come back and win. No excuses. I was out there and we didn't get the job done."
Stephen Curry
On Today's Game:
"Channing hit a big three and they had two straight possessions where they got buckets and they increased the lead and we had to start pressing from then on. We just needed those stops. These were two pretty high powered offensive teams and they made timely buckets and we needed stops on those possessions and when you get in the fourth quarter, that's definitely where you win games. That was the difference right there."
(before the game)
Rusty_SFChron: Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has a pretty heavy tape job on his left thumb/wrist. Haven't noticed that before.
(during the game)
Rusty_SFChron: A fan just told Mark Jackson to sit down, and the Warriors coach welcomed the fan to "stand up."
gswscribe: They need to check the backboard for a crack after Biedrins' first FT
(after the game)
Rusty_SFChron: Warriors power forward David Lee was released from the hospital and is back resting at the hotel.
MSteinmetzCSN: Following are facts & not piling on: Warriors have lost 26 in a row in San Antonio & 15 of past 16 at Staples vs. Lakers.
- David Lee went to the hospital to find out why he felt so sick before the game. No news yet on what he was sick from (food poisoning, virus, flu, etc?).
- The Warriors visit their House of Horrors on Wed. We haven't won in San Antonio since the 13th century.

Mediocre.
Anonymous1337 - January 2, 2012 via mobile
we're missing Reggie
Klay is useless. Absolutely pathetic. He’s not nba quality that’s for sure
maryjane - January 2, 2012
Yep, Reggie is missed. So is Lee, who is a baller. Never had any great expectations for Klay, especially his rookie year.
dinohealth - January 2, 2012
dude
Klay offers us jack shit. Reggie won us multiple games not including the big clutch 3s like the against OKC. Klay has been klaynking out since the pre season
maryjane - January 2, 2012
That's what I said! Only reason he is on this team is because of J. West!
To think people thought that there was no room for Reggie on this team that “Klay may get minutes and replace him” (!), was so ludicrous!
dinohealth - January 2, 2012
you sould
check out the discussion from the recap of the 6ers game to see who thinks exactly who is to blame fore Klay…
I’ve been riding the kid hard, but he hit 2 3pointers today, baby steps in the right direction!
but otherwise he looks bad still…
Lew Ghost - January 2, 2012
I wanted us to draft a Morris twin sooooooooooooooo much more than Klay. That damn Jerry West comes in and after 1 workout is convinced Klay is the best guy available. This was not Larry Riley’s pick.
J-RIDAH - January 2, 2012
and morris had a good game agaisnt us.. that hurts..
PIRATEWARRIOR - January 2, 2012
you really can't admit that riley can do any wrong can you?
bigkino217 - January 3, 2012
IIRC, you were hot on the other Morris twin — the one who has played 17 minutes so far and put up even more horrific SSS numbers than Klay (.200 fg%, 4.2 reb/36).
IIRC, you’ve also been one of Klay Thompson’s biggest supporters on this board.
If you insist on obsessing over every one of your cockamamie predictions, at least try to be honest about what you actually said?
Sleepy Freud - January 3, 2012
hahaha
bigkino217 - January 3, 2012
I wanted Marcus, but was also high on Markieff. I have been a Klay supporter, why not root for a guy once he’s on your team? In regards to Riley not doing any wrong, I already said drafting Udoh over George was a obvious mistake as of right now. I dont obsess over anything tho fam. Stop talking down to ppl like you are above them.
J-RIDAH - January 3, 2012
Stop talking down to ppl like you are above them.
haha, we talk ish to ya cause we love ya. If we ignore you then you got trouble.
Skeptic con Urquell - January 3, 2012
I didn’t mean to talk down. I make my share of cockamamie predictions too. I just tend to forget about them, whether I got them right or wrong (fwiw, I was higher on Markieff than Marcus, and way higher on him than I was on Klay, though it’s obviously way too early to say how prescient that was).
Maybe “obsess” is overstating it, but when you consistently make your predictions such a big part of the discourse here, you can’t complain when people give you a little bit of crap when you get them wrong. People also give you due props when you get them right. That’s just how it works.
Or, put more simply: what Skep said. :-)
Sleepy Freud - January 3, 2012
I know yall can give a rat’s ass about my inside info, predictions, whatever you wanna call it. When I 1st started posting on sports message boards the norm was to see who was right or wrong in their basketball knowledge. It was fun to me being that I feel I know more about the game than the stat geeks that swear they were the second coming of Wooden, however lately I see that on this board its not about who knows more or less about the game and its basically more about random posting. So ill fall back in regards to showing how right or wrong I am and how right or wrong those who said I was wrong are.
J-RIDAH - January 3, 2012
Who? Whoever that is, his hoops knowledge can’t hold a candle to my ability to copy/paste numbers from Basketball Reference!
Seriously: I can’t speak for everyone here, but personally I tend to judge a poster’s quality more on his/her abilities to think critically, construct logical arguments, have a sense of humor, and listen to and learn from other posters, than I do on the “hit rate” of their predictions.
That said, I didn’t mean to suggest you should “fall back” on your predictions and inside info. I just think if you put the prediction record out there, you should do so completely and not selectively cite the ones you got right. (You have admitted you’ve been wrong in the past, so props for that). And as I’ve said before, I think if you make your high opinion of your own scouting skills such a big part of your posts, you have to expect to catch a little good-natured crap when you get one wrong.
Sleepy Freud - January 3, 2012
I’ll keep that in mind.
J-RIDAH - January 3, 2012
No you weren’t. This post is the first time you’ve said Markieff’s name in your 88 posts about Marcus Morris.
It’s fine that you wanted a guy currently in the D-League.
Spider Jerusalem - January 3, 2012
I wanted Marcus the most. No question about it. I think he’ll be a better pro than Markieff. Klay will be a contributor in the NBA tho. I seen guys drafted higher than him last season have the same struggles. Both Wes Johnson and Evan Turner had a hard time adjusting to the NBA. He should come around. I just hope it wasnt the weed that made him a better player and now that he no longer has it is playing more jittery.
J-RIDAH - January 3, 2012
I dont feel so bad now about complaining that the W's drafted Klay over Markief Morris.
That said since Klay is our man I will cheer that he gets his shot and NBA smarts…not sure about his athleticism though….he needs to watch how Curry deals with his natural limitations.
Only In Fairfax - January 4, 2012
I think it's absurd to reach that sort of conclusion at this point in his career.
Five games in, short training camp? To say he’s not NBA quality, that’s just silly.
Ronaldinho - January 2, 2012
i agree totally.
PIRATEWARRIOR - January 2, 2012
Morris is a low post scorer off the bench. We needed that much more than a shooter.
J-RIDAH - January 2, 2012
I finally agree with you.
GovernorStephCurry - January 3, 2012
What DW has given us is unacceptable his defense and rebounding has been good but not enough to outweigh his terrible offense, gotta wonder if we win that if he plays like last years Dorell
I liked Jenkins quite a bit, much better then Klay who although made 2 3’s right after jacked up an ugly shot thinking he was Reggie Miller . Monta played well
McGuire was solid, he probably gave us the best he could and it was solid. We needed Lee’s scoring though. We really need a 3rd and 4th option, Lee might be that 3rd guy but without DW we have no 4th and even then he’s not the greatest 4th option in the world.
Udoh is showing good signs, he is who he is. Kwame can defend well but is a 0 in help defense, I like his overall activity though. Rush also is coming down to earth, it was expected.
And lastly Curry needs to be smarter, stop fouling please. We need his scoring, if he can’t stay on the floor what good is he? He needs to stay aggressive and assertive on offense to maximize his skills but that just hasn’t happened
dubzfan - January 2, 2012
Also I don't get this Andris benching
He was fine on offense and provided good help defense today and all season his rebounding has been good. Benching him makes 0 sense since it hurts the team and his trade value. If he could get to 6 points, a block and 10+ boards a game with good defense he gives us a good trade piece, but benching him makes that nearly impossible , Kwame is not better then he is
dubzfan - January 2, 2012
foul trouble
don't leave Morrow! - January 2, 2012 via mobile
Curry still got 24 mins with worse foul trouble
dubzfan - January 2, 2012
currys a better player
Brownie13 - January 2, 2012
Still no reason why Biedrins doesn't play
It’s not like Steph and Andris compete for minutes
dubzfan - January 2, 2012
Biedrins minutes
are already scheduled to be limited. when he gets in foul trouble, obviously they become even less.
Curry’s minutes, on the other hand are scheduled to be about 36 a night most likely, so even in foul trouble, he’s going to get as many/more minutes than Andris
Brownie13 - January 2, 2012
Sidenote: I really hate how most coaches deal with foul trouble.
Especially for a guy like Andris. He isn’t going to play long minutes anyway, so pulling him when he gets two fouls in the first quarter or three in the second quarter is silly.
Spider Jerusalem - January 2, 2012
He isn’t going to play long minutes anyway, so pulling him when he gets two fouls in the first quarter or three in the second quarter is silly.
yeah, it’s like voluntarily fouling him out before the game is half done.
Skeptic con Urquell - January 2, 2012
Pretty much.
I mean, the penalty for fouling out is that you can’t play. Yet when players get what’s deemed to be an unacceptable number of fouls based on the point in the game, they get pulled and cannot play.
I have no doubt that it’s married to the misguided notion that certain minutes in a basketball game are more important than other minutes.
Spider Jerusalem - January 2, 2012
No I think it has more to do with that crazy idea of have a rotation for the 2 centers....
…through the course of the game….cant see KB or Beans surviving with out a rest in the second half….
Only In Fairfax - January 4, 2012
Yep, I always thought DW was not all that great. I , too, am hot on Jenkins; gla he got some minutes.
Everyone rode Reggie on his defense, but fact is his prolific, efficient, offense more than made up for it. Reggie had the highest Offensive/defensive ration on the team. Still could not get a start! Monta/Curry/Lee are still the scoring nucleus of this team. Curry is playing less than 100%, and I think we ought to sit him this road trip an get him in top form.
dinohealth - January 2, 2012
Man, all those typos! Only happens when I'm disgusted, thinking of what could have been this season. Thanks, FO!
For the record, corrected:

Nash lit him up and he had careless turnovers as well as the silly fouls. He even forced some shots. He should be trying to be a PG…
don't leave Morrow! - January 2, 2012 via mobile
Curry is hurt. He should not have been out there; probably played him to steal this road win.
dinohealth - January 2, 2012
Curry
is fine, don’t make excuses, he been playing on a bum ankle forever, but that doesn’t effect his brain with silly fouls and poor decision making. I’m not a Curry v. Monta guy, but I’m not going to defend him to the death when he’s playing poorly.
Lew Ghost - January 2, 2012
he been playing on a bum ankle forever, but that doesn’t effect his brain with silly fouls and poor decision making.
but it affects one’s ability to do what they want when they want. Until I can play on Binky’s ankle and see for my self it is fine i’m gonna believe it’s a problem cause I’ve had sore ankles myself.
Skeptic con Urquell - January 2, 2012
I can see what you're saying
but his 5th foul had nothing to do with his ankle, it was very very costly and foolish.
Lew Ghost - January 2, 2012
but his 5th foul had nothing to do with his ankle, it was very very costly and foolish.
if his ankle is not 100% it did , sometimes you gotta gamble when there’s no other way to play it.If you know you are slowed down you gotta reach or just give up and let em blow by. An experienced coach might see this and remove the guy where our rookie don’t. It takes quite a while to go from thinking like a player to thinking like a coach, that’s why they spend the time as assistants.
Skeptic con Urquell - January 2, 2012
well I disagree and I think you’re assuming too much (but I could be too as I’ve never had a severe ankle injury), the 5th foul had nothing to do with his ankle and the fact that you say it does I find incredibly hard to believe.
The Dubs were surrounding a Suns player, like 3 or 4 of them, (Suns got an O rebound) and Curry tries to slap the ball away. If you have 4 fouls you don’t take that gamble! Especially how early it was in the 4th! Even if he doesn’t reach in, he’s got 2 men at his side who can help! 2 points for the Suns doesn’t equal Curry on the pine for the majority of the 4th quarter!!!
So I expect Curry to know his value to the team, and not take unnecessary risks, it might be asking too much, but then why be high on a player’s talent or BB IQ, and not expect it in their in game awareness?
Lew Ghost - January 2, 2012
I expect Curry to know his value to the team, and not take unnecessary risks, it might be asking too much, but then why be high on a player’s talent or BB IQ, and not expect it in their in game awareness?
He might have know they weren’t gonna win unless he took chances that he normally wouldn’t? He coulda already figured out that they weren’t gonna be able to stay with Nash in the 4th? If his ankle was 100% he probably woulda done it differently. Games like this are why you want guys like CJ watson or Mr potatohead around to pick up the slack.
Skeptic con Urquell - January 2, 2012
I'm watching Curry's 5th foul on Comcast On Demand.
Hakim Warrick was trying to do a short putback of his own missed jumper. Stephen Curry is standing there watching Warrick. Warrick’s putback misses, but he gets his own rebound again. Stephen Curry, with four fouls and one minute into the 4th qtr, steps over and reaches in to try to knock the ball loose from Warrick. Foul #5.
If you claim that Curry felt he needed to gamble to make up for a weakened ankle, then the gamble that Curry took was a really, really, REALLY dumb gamble, because the odds of success were extremely low, and the odds of drawing a foul for reaching was extremely high.
If Curry’s going to gamble, he needed to gamble by trying something that won’t draw a foul, such as gambling that Warrick will pass back out and try to intercept that pass. But certainly NOT reaching in and risking foul #5 one minute into the fourth qtr!
IQofaWarrior - January 2, 2012

Lew Ghost - January 2, 2012

that'd be nice
for the kid to play his games close to home and have his dad call the games, but then why not Toronto too? And would teaming up with his brother appeal to him too?
All I want is good hard effort and a good player, so far Curry has exceeded expectations, we’ll have him for a good amount of time, it’ll be fine if he leaves (unless it’s a trade… that would hurt).
Lew Ghost - January 3, 2012
He would never go to Toronto. Have they ever signed a star player via free agency?

Gonna watch later...
but not sure I understand starting our SF stopper at PF when there is no dangerous SF on the court. His numbers say he didn’t get in the way off the offense and picked up a lot of boards, but I feel like when I watch the game, I’m going to see why Morris had 16 points.
Brownie13 - January 2, 2012
No Morris scoring 16 had nothing to do with McGuire
McGuire played solid defense on whoever he was guarding (he started so he could check Frye out on the perimeter) and he gave us some solid buckets down low on the offensive end. I was impressed.

I thought we played a lot better than the Sixers game. But then, I wasn’t exactly paying attention, since I was restoring my main computer from my backups.
IQofaWarrior - January 2, 2012
Yep, it did. I'm just a bit of vinegarish, as this was a game I thought we could steal on this road trip.
dinohealth - January 2, 2012
Clearly, our defense isn't at the level it was in the 2 wins.
There has been a lack of defensive intensity and effort in our losses. Our team defense is just reacting to the opposing teams offense. In today’s game, that resulted in a lot of offensive rebounds and uncontested/late contested shots for the Suns. I’ve always felt like a good team defense has to be thinking a step or two ahead, especially the guys not guarding the ball handler.
The pick and roll defense was awful. I’m aware Steph’s accountable, but the bigs weren’t defending the pick and roll the way they were in the wins.
The whole game the Suns got the offensive looks they wanted and took the game when they started hitting their shots in the 2nd half.
Aside from defense, we committed a lot of silly turnovers and played at the same mediocre energy level the entire game. Our guys need to get after it
dont_stop_believin' - January 2, 2012
Too many stupid TOs, bad boxing out, and home-friendly refs
Not a bad outing, our boys were definitely in this game the whole time.
Bunch of bad calls, I know I’m biased but they all seemed to go the Suns way.
In the end I thought those last couple plays by Nash sealed it (burned Curry on a drive once and then just seemed to realize he had it whenever he wanted).
Big difference between Jackson and Smart is that his rotations make a whole lot more sense to me…except I still don’t understand why Udoh doesn’t get more minutes
Duby Dub Dubs - January 2, 2012 via mobile
I agree, Duby. Jackson is rotating correctly, and getting whatever he can out of this team.
dinohealth - January 2, 2012
Also, agree on Udoh. As for Curry, any 40-year-old can blow by him on that lame leg. He has no lateral mobility.
dinohealth - January 2, 2012
This team just isn't very good.
That’s about it. Especially when one of their top three is missing. The paucity of talent really shows. Bullet point musings:
-Klay Thompson doesn’t look like an NBA-caliber player right now. I was worried about this when he was drafted, and he’s done nothing to change my mind. It’s fine that his shot isn’t falling and that he’s struggling on defense, but his body language and the types of mistakes he’s making (speed he plays at, positioning on offense/defense, how he moves on the court) aren’t things that NBA players do.
-Steph Curry is hurt. Sit him. Please.
-Monta is playing smarter. I’ve seen fewer one dribble pull-ups early in the clock so far, and he’s making more passes out of drives than I remember. When things go poorly, however, he goes right back to old habits (there were quite a few pull up jumpers and shots over three people in the key late in the game after the Suns went on their run).
-Charles Jenkins needs to take all of Ish Smith’s minutes. Enough said.
Spider Jerusalem - January 2, 2012
Thoughts on each player:
Stephen Curry: He really needs to stop fouling. It’s terribly frustrating. People are commenting that he’s hurt, but he can obviously play through it. He completed a bunch of solid passes (although he still threw a couple impossible ones, as usual) and his stroke was as smooth as ever. He just picks up way too many touch fouls in positions that have no effect on the game other than causing him to lose aggressiveness on the defensive end. His 5th foul, in particular, when he tried to slap the ball out of the hands of a guy surrounded by 3 or 4 Warriors, was just inexcusable. Mark Jackson should talk to him about this.
Monta Ellis: This kid has really impressed me all year long, both in preseason and in the short season thus far. His decision making is greatly improved and it’s very refreshing to see him be able to create for others while simultaneously creating for himself. It used to be only either one or the other on completely opposite sides of the spectrum. He’s starting to find a good mix. If he can keep improving on this track and Curry stays healthy and plays intelligently (3 big if’s), this tandem can work.
Dorell Wright: Terrible. Horrible. Disgusting. He’s been our worst player all year long. It’s just unbelievable. He’s forgotten how to play the game of basketball. I really don’t know what to say. Just a supreme disappointment.
Dominic McGuire: I was originally baffled by the decision to start him over Udoh, but now I’m impressed. The guy is solid offensively and defensively, attacks the boards ferociously, and hustles. I’m starting to see a trend in the Warrior’s personnel. No flashy players yet, but many very solid role players who can step up and be a major part of securing a win on any given night. McGuire is one of those guys.
Andris Biedrins: Dare I say he deserves more minutes? He’s obviously not perfect, but his presence is immensely felt defensively and he’s starting to put in some of those shots around the basket. He’s on track to returning to his old self.
Brandon Rush: My favorite pickup of the offseason. He’s been a terrific shooter from range, has shown the ability to either follow his own miss or dribble into the lane and finish with a short midrange jumper, hustles nonstop on defense (his chase down blocks, diving for loose balls, and playing solid man defense) and he goes back for the rebound almost every time. And we got him for just Lou Amundson, who isn’t at all special to begin with and would not have played with our frontline rotation. Great trade by the Warriors.
Ekpe Udoh: I want to see him play more. He needs A LOT of work on his footwork, but I feel with some more minutes he can return to be that imposing weak side defensive presence he was last year (blocking shots and such). However, I like his bigger commitment to rebounding and seeing his mini hooks coming along.
Kwame Brown: I continue waiting for the game Kwame disappoints, and it’s not coming. He’s been as good a backup center as we could have ever asked for. His hands aren’t as horrible as they once were. He can’t finish the and-1 if a fly touches him, but at he’s aggressive going to the rim and he’ll follow his own misses. He’s learned his offensive limitations and defensively he’s a huge body who rebounds and helps defend the paint.
Klay Thompson: Aside from Wright, the most disappointing Warrior thus far. He looks lost, unprepared for the speed of the NBA game. I see potential, though. His defense has been solid, and he’s shown he can shoot (when confident). I’d like to see him control the ball with the second unit, to try to create for himself and others off the dribble. We should try getting him more shots.
Charles Jenkins: Why exactly has he almost never played this year? He looks to have a solid midrange shot, a very powerful, disruptive build, and appears to be a pretty good ballhandler. Between him and Ish Smith, we have a very nice complement of backup point guards depending on the game situation.
Ish Smith: Nothing out of him today, but overall I like this signing. He’s incredibly quick, is a good finisher around the rim, and seems like a pesky defender running around everywhere. He needs to get himself under control at times, but as a second or third string PG behind Curry, he’s a very solid player.

and as for David Lee (get well soon!)
I’d say he needs another week or so to get back into game shape and into a solid rhythm and he’ll show us why we paid him so much money a year ago. Other than his shooting (which will eventually come along), mostly everything looks much improved from a year ago.
steffun4tw - January 2, 2012
Solid assessment. Do not share your optimism on Klay (in view of what we lost - Reggie).
I, too, am very hot on Jenkins. I think he is from NYC (could be wrong-plays like he learned his ball there), originally, and great PGs are weaned there. Great potential for this rookie. I also liked your backup scenario at PG. That’s the way I see it, also. Monta is solid; work him out with Curry, and you have solved the oproblem, and can build a franchise around them!

I agree with all your assessment.
i also agree that Beans need more minutes. OK, he may of fouled early in this game, but if he can limit his fouls, he should atleast play a half a quarter in each quarter or more because he is a huge upgrade defensively. I also think it would help improve his own offensive game when he is there longer because he will become more open in a sense. Kwame is doing good, but we can do better with Beans’s mental health by giving him confident minutes longer in the game.
bimmercirem3 - January 2, 2012
Ekpe's rebounding is still bad.
Didn’t he get like 3 rebounds? He got one at the end but that’s end of the game garbage time. Warriors still got crushed on the boards today. Not only his fault, but still I haven’t seen much improvement there so far this year.
kenntoe - January 2, 2012
yep
yep and yep.
I’m not saying I have the ability to judge talent, but Jenkins looks way more NBA ready than Thompson.
Klay did drain some 3s today, so he could be on the right track soon I hope.

Three of his five fouls were calls that probably don’t get called 90% of the time. Especially the 5th one, when Kwame was obviously taking the foul and created much more contact with Warrick.
I disagree that he’s healthy though. It’s pretty obvious with how often he gets caught by double teams and how easily people are getting past him when he has to drive off that right ankle. I think the fouls are an extension of him not being able to be in position as easily as he would like to be.
His shot isn’t falling from three. Aside from that, he’s rebounding extremely well, is playing the best perimeter defense on the team, and has committed one turnover all season (coming today). It’s been five games. I can go through last season and pick out five games where he shot as poorly or worse. He won’t shoot this badly all year.
He’s shooting 42.9% at the rim. He has been good with the floaters/runners so far, though.
I agree with pretty much everything else.

CJ is not that good today
He made three shots but his defense is not good at all. Suns was killing him.
ILoveWarriorsGirls - January 2, 2012
I'm not sure we watched the same game.
He played tight (non-fouling) defense on Nash and chased him closely through screens, and made him take tough shots or forced difficult passes.
There’s not much more you can do against an elite offensive player like Nash.

I sure wouldn’t want to chase Nash on my sore ankle.

Sigh, this is always the case but at this point a foul is a foul regardless
dubzfan - January 2, 2012
The only thing you can say is that Steph should've learned by his third or fourth foul that the game was being called extremely tight and stopped reaching.
But those weren’t NBA fouls, and most NBA refs wouldn’t have called them.
Spider Jerusalem - January 2, 2012
sorta
like a small strike zone, you gotta make in game adjustments… and 2ndly you gotta trust your teammates?
Lew Ghost - January 2, 2012
I agree that some of them were bad calls
but when Curry is in foul trouble, he needs to keep himself out of the positions where calling a foul is in the hands of the referee. Needlessly reaching in, regardless of whether it’s clean or not, is too big a risk when he doesn’t have any spare fouls to work with.

Rec'd steffun...good synopsis which I for one would mostly agree.

Singletary not Harbaugh
Marc Jackson looks much more as Singletary to me – not Harbaugh. No real game plan. Stupid fouls by Curry and Thompson lost in the game I would attribute to bad coaching. If Wright cannot hit anything Thompson should play instead. Rookies need support and boost of confidence. Team need much more discipline in half court set and willingness to run. It is obvious that players are afraid to run because of coach’s instructions. The offense is completely stagnant waiting for Ellis or Curry to shoot. Lee is trying to do something, but when there is no Lee it is painful to watch
Ambal - January 2, 2012

haha, that just replaces a guy with experience and tough defense who can’t hit anything for a rookie with no experience and poor defense that can’t hit anything. The numbers are on DoorL’s side , he’s gotta get back to average one of these days.
Skeptic con Urquell - January 2, 2012
???
when injuries mess the team chemistry and shots don’t fall, every coach will look worse.
I get those comparisons, but I don’t think he looks like either yet, and I’m not sold on Harbaugh yet the red zone efficiency is too mediocre for Harbaugh to be considered ‘good’

We should have never let Tolliver or Radman go
That big duo > our bigs.

LOL
I can only imagine your reactions whenever Channing Frye splashed a jumper against us earlier…
WYK - January 2, 2012
Channing Frye is what big men should be
If Dallas was smart they’d trade Haywood for Frye.
I might explode if I saw Dirk and Frye together.

You're welcome
Actually, it turns out to be MORE annoying, because everyone spreads their links throughout the day, so I end up having to recheck links for stuff the rest of the day.
