Mark Jackson
On Tonight's Game:
"It is a disappointing loss. We had the game. Bottom line is if you don't close out quarters or close out possessions it will come back to bite you. Anthony Morrow knocks down a buzzer beater at the end of the quarter. He is a guy who was struggling all game long. It gives him life and it gives the Nets life. They out worked us, they beat us on the boards, and we had an opportunity to build on what we have been doing, but it was a disappointing loss. We're a no excuse basketball team. This was a win that we fully expected coming in. I give the Nets credit. They went and got the game and it is just discouraging on our part."

On the Nets effort:
"They wanted it more. There were times when we were just waiting for calls or we were concerned about being pushed or shoved. Bottom line is you have to go get the basketball. Kris Humphries out worked us. They wanted the basketball more than we did. We didn’t close out possessions. Our last line of defense is securing the basketball and we did not."
David Lee
On Tonight's Game:
"It was a really disappointing loss tonight, similar to the Charlotte game. We just didn't get it done tonight. I have nothing more to say, they just out played us. They out played us on the boards. I had a lot of foul trouble there and never really got into too much of a rhythm. I give the Nets a lot of credit; they did a good job on the boards. Several guys for them got rebounds and it was just a bad loss for us. It is very disappointing, 2-2 is not the record that we were after, so it's disappointing."
Monta Ellis
On Tonight's Game:
"Kris Humphries was an animal out there...that just sums it up. I'm very disappointed we lost two very winnable games on this road trip that we should have had. We especially should have won tonight. I felt very good about it, but they out worked us. The Nets came out to win. We really need to just stick together. We need to go back in the gym, watch film and take it from there."
Dorell Wright
On Tonight's Game:
"Our goal when we left was to be 4-0. It is definitely a set-back for us. We know we've had some tough losses against some good teams but the way we competed the way we went out there and played each and every night is definitely not acceptable. Everyone in the locker room will hold each other accountable for that. When we get back to the Bay Area we will work hard and make sure that we bounce back. The Nets were really active on the boards, it was definitely unacceptable. Guys have to get on the boards, not just the big men: wings, point guards, everybody. We just have to give ourselves a chance. When we give up that many offensive rebounds we are not going to win that many games. They have guys that are very active, but there shouldn't be any excuses."

Interesting Tweets

(during the game)
gswscribe: Referee Danny Crawford (jokingly) ripped on the media for not having better hands. The ball rolled our way, none of us caught it
gswscribe: I'm usually drop the dimes. I leave finishing to others RT @Monroe_SA Come on, Marcus! Catch it, spin it on one finger, flip it to Danny!

Notes

I knew

we would lose this game. Great to see Monta and Dorell get back and Klay have back to back good games

Go Nets!

MarShon is the future

Great rookie pickup...too bad DW wont hang around,
The future!!!!!

Of a 15 win team next season.. Have fun with that

As a Warriors Fan you should not talk

would rather tank, than be mediocre for 20 years being the laughing stock of the NBA.
RUN ELC

Nets don't need to tank

They’re already too damn terrible and now have no draft picks cause they wasted it on Williams who won’t even get the Nets to the playoffs..

No draft picks?

We have the most draft picks in the entire league the next season… If thats no draft picks then yes, we have no draft picks

Still aint gonna do ish
LOL

Really? Coming here to gloat about your horrible team?

Right?

I just went to the Nets Blog to gloat about our horribly mediocre team

that pic of monta is hilarious
its like mediation pooping.

I don't think gumby is making highlights tonight. So that's all for this game.

Back to back game on a 4 game in 5 days trip. Maybe that’s why we lost.

Maybe that’s why we lost.

if we we an excuses team perhaps but we missed that train.

the warriors are so bad...

that they shot 50% from the field, and had more steals than turnovers, yet still lost to one of the worst teams in the league.
